04.The Scattered Principle

For the scattered principle, I was inspired by the scattered and stacked pictures you often experience when going through old photographs. Since the exhibition I choose heavily features photographs, I thought that this idea could fit.

01.Static Direction

I thought of creating a stack/collage type of arrangement would be interesting.

This direction is more like a free-for-all method, so you are free to arrange the image and scale it; however, you desire, but make sure that the text description is on the top left. Here is how it looked like for mine.

Directions
1. Bring images to Photoshop
2. Arrange composition and scale as you like!
3. Add the text descriptions

02.Video Direction

For the video direction, I extended the static approach and gave the images a chance to be more visible.

Import images or the Photoshop file into After Effect and compose them to look like the static composition. Then animate the image so it would be large in terms of scale. It depends on the image's scale and position. But one thing to keep in mind is that these images should "appear" either on the left or right side so that the user will not block the image nor text. Add the text when the image stops moving. Here is how it came to be.

Directions
1. Import images or Photoshop file to After Effects
2. Arrange it like the composition of the static direction
3. Animate the position and or scale so the images can be viewed
4. Make the text appear on the top left
5. Repeat

03.AR Direction

For the AR direction, I wanted to show the stacks more straightforwardly, so I decided to make this image shield.

To create this, use the Shoulder template or start from scratch and create a Shoulder Tracking object. Afterward, insert the Image Objects under the layer, and play with the scale and positions. If you also want to add a text on the screen, be sure to add the Screen Text object.

This is an exciting direction, but the viewer would not know the object information. Here was the process, how it looked like, and the QR code and link to the filter.

Directions
1. Select the Shoulder template or start from scratch
2. Insert the Shoulder Tracking object
3. Insert Images under the object and adjust the scale and positioning
4. Add a Screen Text object if you have a text on the screen.
